Bobby Yantorno’s Coast to Coast Ride For Justice.

Bobby Yantorno was a young cop when Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner was tragically murdered in the line of duty in 1981. Throughout his rise in the department, Danny’s story has stayed with him, as it has with many in the Philadelphia area and beyond.

On Saturday, May 9th, Bobby set out to ride his bike across the country from Ventura, California to Jacksonville, Florida to raise money for the Justice for Daniel Faulkner Fund, a 501c(3) non-profit organized to honor Danny‚Äôs memory and to combat the propaganda of those seeking to free the man who murdered him, and the Philadelphia FOP’s Survivors Fund, a non-profit that provides financial assistance and support to the families of Philadelphia police officers who have been injured or killed in the line of duty. Most recently the FOP Survivors Fund has assisted the families of Philadelphia Police Corporal James O’Connor, who was shot in the line of duty and Lt. Jimmy Walker, who succumbed to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This 3,000 mile ride is a difficult and amazing feat. Bobby is pedaling alone through California, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida. Bobby expects this ride to take 22 days. Every single day, Bobby has and continues to pedal 100-plus miles through rough terrain to complete this heroic feat. His friend and retired firefighter / EMT Bryan Marton has been trailing him in a support vehicle and they have been stopping at police departments along the way to raise awareness for the Justice For Daniel Faulkner Fund, and support the blue across the country. Without Bryan’s support, this endeavor would have been impossible.

Please help Bobby in raising money for these very worthy causes. Donations can be made here: https://paypal.me/justice4699
and will be split evenly between Justice for Daniel Faulkner and the Philadelphia FOP’s Survivors Fund. Any donation, big or small, will help Maureen Faulkner as she continues to battle her husband’s killer, 39 years later, and the families of fallen officers in the Philadelphia area.
